Hi All,
I wonder if anyone can help me, I have received my notice letter for redundancy which makes my last day being 4th April 2014.
We currently receive 8 weeks holiday but have to take them at fixed times during the year.
2 weeks easter
1 week in may
2 weeks during summer
1 week in october
2 weeks at christmas
Being that my last day is before any of these dates am I legally entitled to accrue holiday pay up to this time and receive it as paid as i estimate this to be around 11 days.
Thanks in advance

Does your holiday year run from 1 January or 1 April or some other day?
If it runs from 1 January and the "2 weeks at christmas" did not include the bank holiday on 1 January, then you would be due 10 days according to your contracted holiday, provided you normally work 5 or more days a week. However that holiday allowance is considerably more generous that statutory and the company may restrict it to 7 paid days.0
