bravofly

Has anyone used Bravofly? This company are on the Skyscanner site. I have booked tickets with them for a Ryanair flight to Portugal but have since read some reports that Bravofly do not have authority to sell Ryan Air tickets and that when I come to book in on-line I will have to pay again. Is this a scam?

Can you find your booking through the ryanair website?

I only use bravofly to search for flights and then go to the official site of the flight they say is cheapest.

I don't think bravofly is a scam though.
  • BravoFly are not a scam, however, nobody apart from Ryanair is allowed to sell Ryanair tickets, and your tickets may be cancelled if Ryanair find out.

    Its unlikely though.
Lots of agents sell Ryanair flights. They are more concerned with unauthorsised screenscraping and companies that inflate their fares.

    This is correct.
Lots of agencies will book Ryanair flights for you, but if Ryanair find out they've been booked by an agency, they will cancel them.

They won't but reserve the right to do so

They did it once some years ago but quickly realised how much business they lost and didn't bother again
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

Surely you must have paid more for them via Bravofly, unless they sell without making a profit which is highly unlikely. No one can sell Ryanair cheaper than Ryanair, it's impossible unless they are making a loss.
  • Thank you for your replies.I have now had my flights confirmed and have had an 'on-line' chat with Ryanair who say my booking through Bravofly has been accepted...and I did take a copy of the transcript of the conversation. Of course I cannot book in on line until 2 weeks before travel which is quite some time away so hopefully everything will be in order. I also had an e mail from someone at Skyscanner through which site Bravofly and others operate, who was also very helpful and advised me to go back to him with any queries. So far so good.

    Hi
I think that is one of the reasons I was worried...but I did get them cheaper than Ryanairs own quote...perhaps Ryanair have an allocation of flights to sell on a certain day to keep their bank balance happy .I have noticed how much the price varies on the Skyscanner site which I used when I bought these flights through Bravofly. Hope all goes well when we check in on line with Ryanair!
