I have recently won an unfair dismissal claim against my previous employer, I signed on with job seekers when I lost my job now the DWP have sent me a letter stating they now want the money back as I have won my case. Is this correct and are they allowed to do this?

I suppose if you've received compensation for the loss of salary, the DWP decision may be right. 0 -
as above.
if you have received money that covers you for the loss of wages, the DWP is correct in asking for JSA money back as you now have the money that you would have earned during that time0 -
if some of your award was for loss of earning then yes they can ask you to turn the benefits you received.0
