Training for the zombie apocalypse

  • If we're talking Walking Dead zombies, a pair of hearing aids would be your best defense. They may be slow but man can those zombies sneak up on people.

If we're talking 28 days later zombies, running for speed and distance.

At this stage I'm probably thinking 28 Days Later, and I'm also thinking Zombieland rule #1 - cardio.

If they do any of the Les Mills classes then try Body Combat and Body Attack :D

Yes - both of those, along with Body Pump, Body Balance, and CX WORX. All on my list - I love Body Pump but haven't tried the others yet. I'll come out of the induction this evening feeling I've been put through a mangle, but I'll be on my way :)

Sadly the induction didn't quite go as planned, as the instructor had no sense of humour and just gave me a blank stare when I told her what I wanted. She came up with stuff that made both my neck and lower back scream (dodgy discs all round) and I barely broke a sweat, so I'm going to design my own programme, based on what we've discussed here :)
