My 15 year old has been saving his money and now has £350 to buy a laptop with.

He wants it for mainly doing his schoolwork, don't think there will be much gaming so as he has a ps3 for that.

He wants something that will last, and be as future proof as possible, although with £350 that may not be too possible.

He has found a Lenovo g500s with an i3 chip on amazon which seems to tick the boxes, but wondered if there was anything else better out there.

Thanks

Edit, just seen an advent Torino in currys (not that I would buy from there) for the same price but with an i5 chip? Any good
