    Is the advice / templates etc on this thread still valid ? My father-in-law has been issued with a pcn from picking someone up from birmingham airport recently

    There again you just don't know what's happened to the OP - there may be very valid reasons why we've heard no more.

    Indeed, he could have been hit by a car which failed to stop, (for fear of getting a ticket), on an airport approach road.
    You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
