Hi
Have been a victim of a timeshare scam and want to get rid of the timeshare asap. I cannot sell the timeshare as there are a couple of years outstanding maintenance invoices. I have spoken to a company called timesharehelp.co.uk (advertised on the radio) and they have said they can get us out of the timeshare contract for 2k. I am desperate to be rid of the timeshare but am worried this is just another scam. Has anyone had dealings with this company or been successful in giving a timeshare back. Concerned will have this for life.

IMO, without reading anything about it; will be a scam.
You will never see any money and you will be £2000 poorer.0 -
Website registered to ABC Marketing Limited which is a dissolved company.
Dissolved 15/10/2013.
Illegal website with no company details.
Looks like all they will do is get you to reclaim on your credit card and take a fee for helping you do that.
You can do that yourself.
Avoid them though. Looks seriously dodgy.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
The company reckon it will take 3 to 4 months to rid us from the timeshare. the 2k is payable once completed.0

Ask them why the website fails to name a company and show their trading address. Why is it registered to a dissolved company.
I wouldnt touch them if they had a bargepole and i was drowning.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
There was a bit about this on radio 4 today.
There was a company that was getting the timeshare people together to file against the timeshare seller. I think they were about to go to court and expected to take 12-18 months so 3-4 months is unrealistic unless they are already well down the path or maybe have a buyer (unlikely).
If they want to deal with you singly and are starting from scratch - unless they know there is something wrong with the contract then £2k is an unlikely figure. Shouldn't hurt to talk to them as long as nothing is payable until completed - don't sign anything though.
Just checked their website and they only touch those that have bought within the last 10 years and used a credit card or finance so they won't be dealing with the timeshare seller and won't be doing much for their £2k.0
