Thanks for your support laurag89, and for sharing your story. :A
It's been a busy week this week. I got my head down and finished a big project early...and was rewarded with extra work as someone else had let them down. Was really pleased with that, as it is extra money and gets me brownie points with a company I hope to work for again in the future
Other than that my new credit card has come through and I've been reading up on stoozing. I thought I'd try it on a very small scale - that is take advantage of the 0% for 6 months purchases. So I can buy my groceries on the card, and with the money I would have spent I can make extra payments off my mortgage. My mortgage is stuck at 6% so it should save me some interest if I've understood the principle correctly :rotfl::rotfl:
I've also been using clicksnap to save money on groceries. Could kick myself as should've done it earlier. Saved about £6 on my shop this week, on things I buy anyway.
Hope everyone is doing well on their journeys x0 -
Hello again BAIWH! Come on - do tell - how was the haircut?
Well done - a huge Brownie point workwise!
Mortgage wise - there are some really good overpayment calculators online - google is your friend ;-)
Also think about my (Pont's) 10% rule. 10% of whatever I earn/spend time on is ...mine all mine! Selfish? Maybe. But it's good for the soul!
For every £100 earned - £10 is 'mine'.
For every hour of housework etc - I DESERVE 6 minutes.
Right there with you - report back!0
