putting a program file on my new computer.

I had a ew computer build and had all the programmes put on a file but their not in the new pcs program files.
One programme in particular is difficult to reinstall from the internet do how do i use the old program with my new pc/. I tried dumping it in my program files but the pathways aren't right or something.

You do not just drag a file or folder into "program files", you need to install it.1. Have you tried to Google the answer?

windows 7 and you can download it but its moved to a new server and ni can't make heads nor takes of the download instructions so i thought i could use the old copy.

I tried to download win client but it only gives me the option of opening it with explorer, i don't have any issues downloading or opening other stuff.0 -

You need to download the file, then open the zip and run the install from there.1. Have you tried to Google the answer?

I think i have it but i have no ideas why it made me use explorer to download it, i have nothing to do with explorer. Thats what threw me.
