I've tried a few places (Petplan and now John Lewis) for pet insurance for my 3 year old Bengal cat. Unfortunately, after the first year they dramatically jack up the price despite not making a claim. I don't see why I should pay a 50% increase every year (it'd go into the hundreds eventually!) to pay for other people's claims.
My question is: What's the maximum a vet bill could be when it comes to choosing a plan's cover? Many only offer cover of up to £4,000... is this enough?
My other question is: What pet insurance companies would you recommend that have a good reputation, offer a good amount of cover and don't overcharge you?
Cheers

Most pet insurance will increase every year.
You are best not to chop and change pet insurance as you will then not be able to claim for illness or injuries your pet has had in the past even if you never claimed for those things in the past.
Petplan are very good.
Vets bills can go much higher than £4000 pounds per year, depending on the problem/s, best to pick the cover limit you fee best.
Hope this helps a bit?0
