quotemehappy.com problem

I have changed my car after a couple of months from the start of my quotemehappy.com (happy...yeah right lol) policy being started.
I see that online they do not charge an admin fee if you change your policy yourself, which I did. They quoted the new premium and I was happy....BUT, when I read the email from them confirming things they have charged me £86.10 amendment fee!!! I emailed asking what it was for and for a breakdown of the cost to get an email back which was totally irrelevant and did not answer my question. I have emailed back asking the question again. This amendment fee is separate from an admin fee on the invoice.
Has anyone ever come across this with them? What is this amendment fee? I don't see what they have amended because I did it myself.
Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

If you read the original post that I made, I said that I accepted the new premium. This amendment fee is in addition to an increase in premium.0

Hmmmm......quotemehappy.com is an online only car insurer, no phone number...hence why I emailed them.0

quotemehappy.com is a trading name for part of Aviva but Aviva customer service will not speak to any quotemehappy.com customers when they call.0 -
That's for claims only. For anything else, they tell you to message via their website, but I appreciate you searching google for a number.0

No, I actually read the website and this is the information they provide
"Need help? We're an online only insurer and don't provide customer service support over telephone"
Do you work for them?0 -
Hi Windsor,
sorry to hear you were charged a lot of money, and following your enquires little has changed. I am also a customer of this company. I found this number which might help:
01603 604 914 FYI I got this number from saynoto0870.com I have never used it, but worth a try don't you think?
if you still do not get anywhere, perhaps you could try and log a complaint with the company, I think Gambler gave you a number, although it might be expensive to use. please let us know how you get onTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -
I only came on here to ask if anyone else had the same experience with quotemehappy.com not to have personal comments made to myself and other forum members.0

Thank you trinidadone for your reply. I appreciate you giving me the telephone number. I will try that one. I had searched google but couldn't find any contact number myself, but The Gambler supplied one phone number which was for claims and the other phone number I have not tried.

no problem.
like you stated it is a online company, so I think they prefer us customers to contact them online only, I guess it cuts there overhead costs with call centres. I hope you get through to them on Monday, or you can even try tomorrowTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0
