Should I buy a Nikon or a Fuji camera?
If I have done this right it should be a choice of the 2 at the bottom of this page

of those two bottom-of-the-range bridge cameras, i'd get the Nikon..
CMOS sensor (rather than the Fuji CCD)
Marginally better lens aperture (5-3.8 rather than 5.1 to 5.9)
Faster frames-per-second (8, rather than 1.2)
Personally, i think one of these would rock far more than those cameras: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pentax-X5-Bridge-Camera-Optical/dp/B00911YEAQ/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1390065763&sr=1-4
It has a viewfinder! It will record great HD video. Pentax is a great brand name too. There's also the tiltable LCD screen.
Sadly, the Panny Bridge cameras at this price point aren't as good, per spec0
