"Telecoms giant BT has moved into the plastic card market, with a credit card that reduces users' telephone and broadband bills.
The cards will be linked to customers' phone and broadband accounts: every time they use the cards to make a purchase, they will automatically receive money off their BT bill.
For the first 250 pounds of spending per month, customers will receive a discount of one penny for every two pounds-worth of purchases. Spending above 250 pounds will earn double the discount -- one penny for every pound spent.
Cardholders will be able to earn a discount of up to 75 pounds per year, with 150 pounds-worth of savings if more than one BT credit card account holder lives at the same address."

Hmm.
½% 'cashback' for the first £250/month spent per month (£3,000 p.a.) and 1% 'cashback' for spending over that.
Easily beaten so methinks it'll not be a card Martin's going to be recommending!Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
