I have found a property to purchase and will be a cash buyer - I proceeded with the sale of my house despite my previous proposed purchase falling through! I have a monthly rental agreement and am really anxious to move asap. The seller of the property is moving into rented accommodation and is also anxious to move out as soon as possible. Theoretically what is the shortest time in which all the conveyancing could be completed to arrive at completion? My solicitor advised 6/8 weeks but the agent could see no reason why it would not be possible within 3/4 weeks.

This is quite a common question, but always interesting to hear peoples experiences.
On both house purchases I have managed to complete well within four weeks.Gone ... or have I?0 -
I've heard of it being done in days by taking out indemnity insurance against anything bad coming up in searches, never heard what happens if something comes up later though. Might be a bit too specialised for a normal off the shelf conveyancer though.0
