Nationwide just refunded my charges less intrest but have also entered a defence??

Gone thru moneyclaim online,Nationwide acknowleged my claim and two days before there 28 days were up they put £2500 (of the the £3350 total claimed) in my account with no calls or letters. However they have also entered a defence. What does this mean and where do i go from here? I can only assume they just paid out the charges and wish to defend against the intrest. The cash i have recieved is a good result,im just worried that i could lose it coz of this defence. Help

Its just different departments, one paying the claim and the litigation department won't have been told this and will have entered a defence automatically. If you want to accept the offer then do so and you can let MCOL know by email or phone that your claim has been settled.
  • That make sense ,Thanks. But is it worth me going that little bit further
