I have a Tesco world mastercard which is no longer available to new applicants. I cannot find the charges for using it in USA. It is more generous than the newer cards giving me 1 point for every £2 spent. I also have a nationwide cash reward visa. Does anyone know which it would be better to use.

The world mastercard will have a fee of 2.75-2.99%. The nationwide charge on the cash reward card is 1% outside of the Europe region.
You will earn clubcard points worth 0.5% if used in store on your purchases, although they could be worth 2% if you use them for 4x deals. There is no cashback on overseas purchases on the cash reward card.
I would use the nationwide card as I always think cash in your pocket is worth more than vouchers, particularly as the deals vouchers are not usually valid apart from for payments at full price (i.e. no set menus in restaurants etc).
If you have time you could get a Halifax clarity or post office mastercard, or if you are eligible upgrade to a nationwide select credit card. All of these have no fees for overseas purchases.0
