Hi,
I am thinking to get my staircase laminated,can anyone please tell where can I get it from?and how much would it cost approx.?

I personally would not go down that route, however if you are that keen then here goes.
1. Laminate planks are cut to size then glued directly to the tread and riser.
2. You have to fit a stair nosing to each of the stairs, remembering to leave enough space on the tread and riser for the rebate on the nosing.
Also if the banister is spindle there isnt a nice way to finish the sides off..
Remember that Laminate is slippy at the best of times and although may look nice to begin wih, I think the hazard of slipping would really put most people off..... I would always refuse to fit this on stairs, no matter how much someone wanted it and how much they wanted to pay....I have nothing better to do!!!!
