Fake O2 upgrade calls!!

Guys,
I've been getting called twice daily for the past 2 weeks from an unknown number. On the occasions where I've answered, the person (only males so far) have said they're "from O2 upgrades and I'm due an upgrade".
Coincidentally, I only just upgraded a few days before these calls behan, so I presume o2 's systems were slow or something.
But it's now been just over 2 weeks since I upgraded, and the calls are persisting. One in the morning and one in the evening.
On the occasions where I pick up, I say "if you were genuinely o2, you should know I upgraded only two weeks ago". They do not respond and VERY promptly hang up the phone.
I'm guessing this is phishing of sorts, but I'm curious as to how/why this started straight after I upgraded with O2 official...
Anyone else had this?
Is there anywhere where I can report this and investigate who is calling?
Cheers,
Z

Sounds like stalker behaviour to me.0

They know your original contract is up, they dont know you renewed, so they are calling two weeks after the contract was due to terminate - as you're still active.
I had one the other day, she called and told me she was calling from o2, when I told her she wasn't she laughed at me - she told me my contract was due for renewal and I told her it was months away - oh and I was with vodafone.
She hung up.
No more calls since.0 -

Is it worth investigating further? Surely they're breaching some law by impersonating O2?
And in any case, how the heckety did they get my details? O2 selling out details??
