Whirlpool Built In Double Oven

Options
I have a Whirlpool built in double oven and one of the small buttons which is used to reset the lower oven to enable me to use it seems to be stuck. I rang whirlpool to ask for local tradesmen in my area who could repair this. I was told that they would have to send a tradesman from them and the cost of this call out would be £79 plus cost of any part required. Just wondered if anyone had any ideas on who I could call to repair my oven.
Thanks

    Hi,

The button should come off with a bit of gentle persuasion to allow you to clean it. It's probably just some muck stuck behind it, with any luck.

If you get stuck though, try here

Thanks for that advice kwatt, I will give it a go tomorrow. I have been poking about with the button as I thought it might come off but didn't want to do anymore damage. Fingers crossed it will come off. cheers

Have tried the gentle persuasion but it although it is loose it will not come off. It seems to be fixed at the back sonehow with maybe a clip or something. Don't want to go spending loads of money on repairs as I would rather replace it. What's your advice kwatt?
