White screen virus

Hi All, I have a white screen virus that gives a white screen with the words "please connect to the internet" andI haven't been able to overcome so far. I've got into safe mode with command prompt and managed to get to the msconfig and on the start up tab i've googled most of the things on there and they seem OK except for one entry whicgh is suspect. It is KB2668511 and there are three entries of it. I've tried un-ticking them and applying it and restarting but it doesn't work and each time I go in msconfig 2 of the 3 are ticked again. Can anyone help with this please?

  • Go into the registry and delete any run keys you are unfamiliar with, after making a backup of that key of course.
