Especially this bit

"By 4pm on 31 January 2014 the Claimants solicitors shall notify HHJ Moloney QC as the designated Circuit Judge if any similar cases pending in the Cambridge, Essex, Suffolk or Norfolk Courts with a view to their being listed on the same occasion or stayed pending the outcome of these proceedings."

Me thinks the courts maybe getting fed up of these stupid, ill prepared cases being put before them!

So as well as each case costing Parking eye money to pursue, it looks like their extreme litigiousness may come back to bite them!

What did the BPA Ltd say was the main purpose of POPLA? Oh yes, "to ease the burden on the courts". Not with PE issuing hundreds of court papers a week it's not.

I wonder when PE will finally realise that the game is up and their threats are just toothless? Prepared people beat them into submission with a few cut and paste arguments from forums.

I bet land owners are sick to death of intervening as it means they aren't getting the peaceful time PE would have marketed to them either.

It's rather ironic that the so-called "armchair lawyers" and "forum do-gooders" are winning cases with well prepared documents and arguments, while the so-called "professionals" from PE and their tame law-firm are turning up to court with a load of rubbish and losing.

It would seem that somebody has really ppppppd off this judge , lol

perhaps with the flurry of court papers they produced through northampton its caused some "chatter" amongst the judges who sit on these cases ?

Or maybe he has had a relative who had one for an overstay on a supermarket car park or a retail park whilst in a restaurant, ;)

either way, it was only a matter of time before they picked on the wrong people , or before all these court case claims came to the attention of the judiciary and added to their workload.

I dont know if it makes a difference but if we assume he wishes to deal with a load at once and PE get knocked back on most or all of them, maybe it will bring about a sea change in matters ?

would it set a legal precedent if he did so ? or would it not have gone high enough up the court ladder ?

either way, interesting stuff , doesnt look good for those legal beagles that PE send , maybe they should all stock up on toothbrushes ;)

I wonder what would happen if PE were declared a vexatious litigant? Short over stays in free car parks would seem an ideal tranche of cases that would seem just that, particularly if any of the victims were blue badge or equality act covered...

In the list is ABIOLA, Zainab Duke - 21 March 2006

That's not the same fellow that is mentioned in PE's 'winning' arguments is it?

    Even better, it's a Circuit Judge :j

Mind you, I am sure that Rachel will go all out to get her best Legal Eagles on this, I doubt that it will be the usual ill prepared LPC body for the day with a dodgy bundle provided by PE.

I hope that Bargepole or the Prankster, or at least one of the other regulars will be able to attend.

Parking Eye completely revamped their website yesterday, but strangely enough they "forgot" to update their list of court cases, although they have taken down the lie that stated that their list include all court cases in 2013 and the statement that they never vacate a hearing unless the claimant coughs up.

The only time I have ever seen a statement like that from a Judge is when they are considering ruling "vexatious litigant"
They can order all cases be grouped and dealt with in one sitting, this does not look very good at all.

Think we might be seeing another one of those vacancies advertised we can not publish...
    vacancy, solicitor post available immediately.
    Be happy...;)

Fixed that for you - I think it looks very well indeed, for us of course!
