What notice period should I be given?

Options
I've worked for the same company for nearly 10 years (will be over 10 by the finish date they have given). In this time I've been in my current role 6.75 years, a similar half time role for 9 months, then 2.5 years as a casual worker (mostly seasonal to school holidays but some cover in term times as well, I'd average around 60-70 days a year). I read on citizens advice I should get a weeks notice for each year I've worked there, would that only be in my current role ie 6 weeks, or all jobs in the same company?
Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81
Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off

    Hi Dinah,

On all roles in company as long as you have retained continuous service (so you haven't left and come back. Not including any breaks for mat leave).

Sounds like you have have 10yrs according the the statutory, but check your employment contract for any enhanced rates. Older contracts may have better terms and conditions and enhancements.

All of our contracts state minimum 12 weeks unless you're in the first 6 months, even the ones I've issued this week, so there is room for more than the minimum in this.

    You have 10 years entitlement.

You will have to look at the original casual contract carefully it may be that does not count continuous service

If you do have continuous service for notice it is counted back from the date of notice(not termination date). 1 weeks for each full year up to a maximum of 12 weeks.

From hat you have said that would be 9 if they have already given notice.

Redundancy would be 10years service if the termination date or 9 weeks(statutory notice) after notice are after the anniversary.

Contractual notice could make this notice period longer.
