Success after 6years

Well the title says it all, my case was so long and drawn out, the bank told me I had NOT got a ppi?

After six years of plodding on with the help of the ombudsman the bank are admitting liability

So it goes to show, take NO notice of the banks, I really did nearly give up though, but thought what have I got to lose

Well I gained :T

When I first approached them, they told me no ppi was on the account,so I asked for more info of the account, which I got which clearly showed payments of £63.11 had been paid monthly, when they were approached over this they tried to tell me that it was for redundancy?and I knew about it,

I then asked for all the premiums to be payed back to me as I believed it was a ppi, they told me I would have to deal with the insurance company

I did this but they were not forthcoming at first and looked into it, after a few years. Bear in mind I work full time and have two companies at the time book work ect to do I still persued it, they said I have to go after the company that sold us it as it was on hp so I did that and told them I wanted my money back, they took ages passing me from dept to dept, I got nowhere, so decided to send everything to the ombudsman that was back in may 2011 after a lot of work it finally paid of

So I am at the stage of waiting for my money

£63.11 paid for 27months(we settled the loan early) it was first took out in dec 2005 so do u think there will be interest on it?

    Cheers

My point is to take no notice of what the banks tell you, they actually lied to me,

I am just glad it's all done with now

But I suppose back in 2008 they did this, they are admitting to it now

    Cheers to this site
