Depends. Some are transferable, some are not. Its up to the manufacturer whether they let you.You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0

Possibly, but without seeing the guarantee documents, it's impossible to say one way or the other.
A guarantee/warranty is something provided by either a retailer or manufacturer and because it is something that is given that is in addition to your statutory rights, the guarantee provider is entitled to state their own terms and conditions.
Some companies say that the guarantee is transferrable, whilst others limit it to the original purchaser.0 -
Do you still have the original receipt? A lot of manufacturer's would require to see some proof of purchase before honouring a warranty repair.0

Yes I have receipt for Icecrypt Recorder and I have asked them in an Email.0

The guarantee may or may not be valid, the manufacturer may apply whatever terms they like to it. The statutory rights are a contract between the shop and purchaser only, so those won't be transferable.0

Bought at Tesco and they say any problems with Recorder must be reported to Manufacturer and not to them.0
-
They are allowed to say that to the person that you sell the item to (as they have no contract with them), but they shouldn't be trying this with the original purchaser of the goods.0

Have received confirmation from Icecrypt that receipt transferable.
As I am transferring to Sky to obtain BT Sport and need their Dish and Box, this is great news!0 -
If you're only getting Sky for BT sport, then you're wasting your money. Go with Youview or BT Vision+ and pay BT directly for it.1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?0 -
I will also have ESPN and Eurosport UK.Box and Dish are free and only 12 months contract.
I will then reconsider.0
