help with divorce

To try to be brief,I started divorce proceedings myself against my husband in 2012,we have currently reached the decree absolute stage,but I have not applied for this yet as I consulted a solicitor to draw up a clean break financial order which has been done and submitted to the court.There has been a bit of a delay as I had to write to the NHS pension dept as the judge wanted up to date pension figures for myself,I sent the paperwork back in Nov and have waited.....I rang the county court today to be told that we had a hearing booked for 17th Dec which I knew nothing about,and my ex husband said he hadn't revieved anything either.I'm waiting to hear back from the solicitor next week as I'm not sure why we had a hearing?.the clerk from the solicitors said they E mailed me in Nov but I never recieved it?.Anyone been in a similar situation?The solicitors have only Bern paid to draft up this document ,so I have no legal representation.Me n ex hubby are both willing to just turn up together to court if I write to them to arrange another apt.Any help would be appreciated,I'm working nights tonight so will check the forum tomorrow:)
