Dodgy internet site

I recently purchased a designer bag from a website called Will Foster. The bag was considerably reduced so I should have been more wary but I ordered it as the site said I could return it if it wasn't suitable.
I paid on my credit card and the bag arrived. However it was a fake and unlike the pictures shown on the site.
I sent them an email saying it was unsuitable and that I would like to return it.
However after several emails I have heard nothing back and there is no other contact on the site and no address to return it to.
The site says it is a uk outlet site but the packaging on the item looks like it from China.
Does anyone have any advice on what I could do to get my money back. It still cost me £70 so I could really do with the money or do I have to put it down one costly learning curve?

Speak to your card issuer about a chargeback.

When you speak to your card issuer, I would also strongly suggest that you ask them to cancel your card and issue a new one.
The people that you gave your card details appear to be part of an extremely well organised bunch of scammers selling just about every kind of clothing and accessories (fakes), and I wouldn't be surprised to find that your card details get sold on to others.
If you type their customer service e-mail address into Google, this is what you find:

Thank you so much for your help. I have contacted my credit card holder about charge back. I am currently filling in a claim form. As part of the form it says it requires a independent inspection report. It needs to detail the assessors qualifications and be on their headed paper.
Apparently my claim in invalid without it.
Any ideas on who I'm suppose to ask to do this??
Many thanks in advance0 -

Hi,
Have you contacted the designer / manufacturer of the bag? Chances are you could send a picture to them and they should be able to verify as to whether it is fake or not. I have no idea about bags, do they usually have serial numbers? If so it could help verify. Give them a call and see what they say."Always fulfil your needs, only fulfil your wants when your needs are no longer a concern" - citricsquid0 -
The website is definitely Chinese which means everything they sell is counterfeit.
OP, I suggest you contact Michael Kors.

Thank you again for all your help.
It's just me that knows the item is a fake as it is obvious from its poor quality.
I have emailed Michael Kors but havnt heard anything. Can I just send my claims form without the independent valuation and just my evidence? Or would they just not even look at it?0 -

What did you email to Michael Kors?
Most manufacturers will provide a statement that the place you purchased it from is not a verified or authorised seller (which is usually enough for the card firms) but they won't say "this particular bag is / isn't fake".
I'd be inclined to email again to that effect or better yet, call them (although granted, it is only a US number) when they open in the states. You may get a better / faster response over the phone.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I've tried emailing Michael kors directly but their reply just said they suggested only buying from them directly. When I asked for a statement as suggested in the thread above they just gave me an email of a fraud website to contact.
I have contacted them also but they said they don't deal with counterfeit bags!
I'm at a loss as of what to do next. Any more advice is greatly appreciated!0 -
All you have to do is ask the main Michael Kors website or the fraud website (which you very unhelpfully haven't mentioned the name of) whether willfoster.co.uk are an authorised retailer of Michael Kors bags. Jeesus wept how difficult is that?
When you first asked for help I checked out the website, rated it on Web of Trust and added comments to back up my rating. So you could use that as part of your evidence to your bank.

Several people have tried helping you out. Try hitting the Thanks button. It won't wear your computer out.0
