What to do with £1500

Hi all
Baiscally I have £1500 that needs to be saved/invested (I'm not sure which to go for hence the post on here
).
The money will eventually be used to pay off a interest free loan (sort of) on the house (ie the house I have purchased had 15% deffered by the developer provided that I pay it off in a period of 3 years - if I fail to pay it off within 3 years I have to pay 15% of the market value at the time I decide to pay it back (if that makes sense)) Therefore I would like to make the £1500 work for me. I already invest £250 pm into an ISA however after just speaking to Scottish Widows of that £250, £12.50 is taken in charges each month and I don't really want that to happen to the £1500.
Many thanks in advance
Kev
