Hi all,
I'm coming to Selhurst Park tomorrow and I need to park near the ground for the game against Stoke City.
I am happy to pay for parking, and also happy to walk anything up to 30 minutes (a couple of miles) but the nearer the better.
Any help/advice where to park would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Andy
PS If I have posted in the wrong place can someone advise me where to post.

Where are you coming from?0

There is plenty of street parking about 10 minutes walk away. If you look at Google maps, follow Whitehorse Lane to the northeast where it joins South Norwood Hill. Opposite is Howden Road and somewhere down there towards Auckland Rd will probably be OK. Its a slightly better area than the Thornton Heath end of Whitehorse Lane as well.0

Thanks for that. Is it street parking and if I get there about midday will there be spaces?
If I aim for Auckland Road, is that a good street to park in.
Thanks for your help.0 -
Well I used to live just off it, so it's obviously a classy area.
If you're a Stoke supporter don't go too far south down the road or South Norwood Hill as that's where the Palace fans meet for a drink.
And lastly, London traffic can be a disaster, leave yourself an hour minimum to get from the M25 to the ground.0 -

Thanks Stooby2,
Are there any parking restrictions around there, or should I be ok for street parking?0 -
There are some yellow lines nearer to South Norwood Hill, but I think down by Aukland Road you should be OK.0

You are a star thanks very much.
I am a journalist working tomorrow, so I won't be going near any Palace or Stoke fans.
Is an option to come in on the tube and park away from the ground. If so which tube station would you suggest I aim for near to Palace and which station should I park at.
Many thanks,

There are no tube stations in that part of London.
It would probably be best heading down to the M25 and then go around the M25 anti clockwise to the M25 as the traffic heading north back into central London can be a nightmare on Saturday afternoons0 -
There is the option of coming off the the M25 onto the M23, and going to Purley Oaks BR station. You can get a train from there direct to Selhurst BR which is the one that serves the ground. Then just follow the crowds...0
