Credit File Address

Hello, This is my first post and hope someone can help! We moved to a new flat in September and it is basically a converted house (2 flats). The address we have for the electoral role is wrote as 1st floor flt, 34 Smith Gardens, AD12 3EF (I've used an example) and on most other things it reads 34 Smith Gardens, First floor flat, AD12 3EF. It has already been a huge hassle to change it to first floor flat as this isn't on anyone's database. My question is will the different way it is written flag up on my credit file, i.e. 1st and first and the fact one has 1st floor on the top line and the other has 34 Smith Gardens on the top line. We hope to apply for a mortgage this summer and really don't want this to be an issue. Any help would be most appreciated, thank you!

Hi
Addresses like these can cause lots of problems with getting credit.
I would get copies of your credit files and check that all the things that should appear on them do, i.e. your credit agreements and you electoral roll info.
In terms of the electoral roll info it may not yet be updated on your files at all.
The credit reference agencies should be able to help match/link the different address variants.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
