PCN at airport

Having read the threads in regard to the above I have a similar but slightly different case and would like some guidance if possible. Car hired at the airport, stopped for less than 10 secs to allow passengers to exit the vehicle at the entrance to the car hire return car park. Two months later a PCN charge via the hire company received. I will appeal and will use the letter provided. The problem I have is my details are with the hire company and unless I pay the private company will continue to send invoices to the hire company seeking payment. Hire company will then send on and charge me for the privilege. It's a no win situation as I see it. Any ideas would be welcomed.
Thanks

You need to start your own thread but just to tell you that your assumption is wrong. Once you write your first appeal to ID yourself as the driver then the PPC is not allowed to pursue the owner/keeper. NOT AT ALL.

If you are new on a forum, read the 'sticky threads' which are the information notices & threads of FAQs stuck at the top of all the other threads. Especially when one gives you a clue to read it, as it's called 'Private parking ticket? Newbies please read this first!' I never add links to obvious stuff like sticky threads at the top, because the forum works better for you if you can click back to page one yourself and your research will be soooo much easier for you. See my signature below, for where to click (page one and the sticky thread advice & FAQs are only one click away).

It is a bit odd how often we all mention the top threads on the forum which have been utterly missed so far and how often newbies just tag onto someone else's thread and seem to have missed the whole forum! Did you think this might be the only VCS Airport thread or the above version, the only relevant appeal you could use? Nope.

Appeal = easy. Other threads tell you exactly how to win, and with forum help on your own new thread, you WILL win.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
