People who post room wanted ads nearly always hope in their dreams to pay 25% below local market rate and/or have additional wants like pets accepted.
That certainly fits some of those who have contacted me. One asked to pay a good £100 a month less than I am asking. Another irritated me no end by trying to persuade me to promise her the room before it could possibly be available.
The rent i am asking compares very favourably with many of the other properties advertised in my area. Why should someone pay £600 a month for a double bedroom?
I have had another enquiry this eve which sounds quite promising so will just have to wait and see.0
