Can a soft-closed or hard-closed fund be moved into an ISA?

Options
Hi there,

Must admit I'm confused about the precise definition of the terms "soft-closed" and "hard-closed".

I'm thinking about Cazenova UK Small Companies fund which ?soft-closes/?hard-closes on 22nd January. If I have this fund in my unwrapped S&S fund would I be able to move it into my ISA at a future date?

Are there other implications of holding a closed fund? Would it be straightforward to sell in the future. Would it continue to be actively managed?

Many thanks for your time.

I don't know the answer I'm afraid - but I have a soft-closed fund in my H&L SIPP which I may be transferring and I was wondering the same.

I'm not sure but my thought would be that you could transfer out if the receiving platform/ broker offers that fund in the exact same fund class. If not then I think the fund would probably go into cash and you'd then struggle to repurchase.
