This is one of those Linkwords eg. "SAND" for QUICK _ _ _ _ CASTLE
The puzzle is BICYCLE _ _ _ _ IRON, and I have gone for "PUMP" but "TYRE" also fits.
I don't know if they will accept both or just one of them as the correct answer.

Hi. I was just thinking about this. Isn't 'tire iron' more of a term used in the US rather than here (don't we tend to use 'crowbar')? - it is spelt 'tire' not 'tyre' which also makes me think it's more of an American term than British.

I would have thought that your answer 'pump' is the correct one...
