Will this affect my credit rating ?

Morning all

I've been getting a lot of calls recently to my home number from lloyds debt recovery and allied international credit. :mad:
I've never had any dealings with lloyds and when i called both lloyds and AIC back the name they have isn't applicable to my number.

I've only had the phone number since november and even i don't remember it so no idea where they got it from.

Will this in future affect my credit rating as the number will have been listed as someone with a debt? Any way of removing it as I don't see why I should be chasing everyone to clear my name. Or should I just ignore it as 'not my problem'

No if the phone number is the only connection to you then it won't affect your credit file.
