Classic with Vantage and Easy Saver

Options
Good morning,
excuse me if I will repeat a question already answered in the Forum, but I have seen that the date for the answer is very old (2011), so I think something could be changed in the meantime.

I have a Classic with Vantage account with Lloyd Bank.
I actually don't understand what could be the advantage of moving my money on the Easy Saver (present on my bank account).
I mean: with my Italian bank account if I move money in a saver, I will get higer interests in comparison than having the same money in the bank account.

If I well understood it is not the same with Lloyd.
I mean: have I understood correctly that having money
  • on the bank account I will get 1.19% or 1.59%
  • on the Easy Saver I will get 0.50%
as interests?
Isn't it so?
And if it is so, which is the advantage of moving money in the Saver?

Thank you very much for your explanations.
Have a nice day.

Vantage only pays interest up to £5000, any amount above that earns 0%.

Anything up to £5000 keep in there, anything above keep elsewhere (have a look at the best buy savings accounts, you can still do better than 0.5%)
If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.

Also, you can have 3 Vantage accounts.

    The easy saver is useless.

It's probably their best seller too!

Oh, so I understood correctly: if I have less than £ 5,000 it's better not to move in Easy Saver :T
Thank you very much for your answers.
