My advice is look for an Epson or a Canon, they do reasonably cheap all in ones. Ive had 2 in the past 7 or so years, they dont last forever.
Then what I always do is look up for the cost of replacement cartridges on ebay or perhaps one of many compatible cartridge selling companies out there and find out how much it is to run it. Compatible (even better CIS) is always cheaper than original cartridges. My compatibles for my printer are £3 a set and the originals £35.
A no brainer if you ask me.
Heres an example of one for £35 from argos

and the ink on ebay for example

Cheap dell laser, the ink is way cheaper than inkjet and you get much better quality prints, and warm paper
