Yep! The end is about 4.15 this afternoon, when the door closes :rotfl: isn't it amazing? When there's no external structure, no company to say "these are our rules" you can make it up as you go along. So I did
I haven't done half of the preparation that I wanted to do, of course, mostly because of energy issues (which is why I'm retiring, doh!) but I just don't care :rotfl:
Thank you all so much for the good wishes :kisses3: it's really nice **beams happily**
Just got some admin for this morning - including cutting a new piece of washing line from the huge length the poundshop sold me ages ago - there's currently a bit unravelling, and if it dumps my therapy room curtains on the grass, I shall be displeased. So a new line cometh

Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but what is your therapy room becoming? Another living room, storage, or maybe a wee Airbnb suite?0

No Airbnb! I just got my house back, I'm not letting it out again
Don't read this paragraph, your brain will ooze out of your ears:
[STRIKE]I plan to (this is complicated, pay attention there):
- paint it (it's not been done well)
- move the single bed from the office into there, along with the Wilko storage crates residing under it. One of them will be the new bedside table
- put the vac. cleaner in there, the easier to snaffle up eight legged refugees in the stairwell.
- get the Man That Can to rescue the deckchair frame from the collapsing shed, put a new piece of fabric (and cushions) on it, and use it in there. [/STRIKE]
Basically, I can sit in the deckchair or loll on the bed to watch videos, as my laptop will still be plugged in (connection is rubbish), whereas now I can't, really, because I can't sit upright at the desk for that long. Plus if individuals come to stay, they can sleep there. Couples come to stay, they'll have to have my room, and I'll have this room
Moving the bed will let me soundproof the party wall, then I'll move the desk into that recess, and voila, an office where I can reach everything without having to shuffle around.
It will be a wonderland of pleasure and productivity :cool:2023: the year I get to buy a car0
