I know, its good, innit
Baaaad sleep last night, but this morning I have:
- put the dw on.
- put the wm on, and most of it is out on the line for a couple of hours - rain forecast later, so I'll bring it in around midday.
- made a phone call I was scheduled to make, no reply, so it goes.
- got together the rest of my papers to do the tax return. That should help with sorting out what I've actually done with that money
- started a few little bits of everyday scanning, an article from the last professional journal so I could chuck the paper, and my computer practically ground to a halt. So *I* called a halt.
- and uninstalled Google Chrome, ta-da! I didn't want it anyway, it hitched a ride on Adobe something or other, so I've kondoed it
I need a strong cuppa tea :coffee:
I have a couple of hours work scheduled this afternoon, so got to have all this stuff finished by then.

Good point! It's not as if I *paid* for something, I just have a bit of extra dosh sitting somewhere other than my current account
Several good things about today:
- one of the "shtf" things has probably resolved - my rellie's operation seems to have been successful, she's off the ventilator and breathing on her own.
Other, idiotic not life-or-death, things:
- woke up at 4.30 as usualand unusually took 2 paracetemol to help me get back to sleep, I really needed it. Bliss! Got up at 8, finally, after 3 extra hours of quality sleep. The feeling that that gives really can't be overestimated :T
- just done a yougov survey, 75 points, that took less than 10 mins. Since I'm staying with them, I worked out what thats worth - £1 is 100 points, so thats 75p, an hourly rate of .... erm .... £4.50, for sitting at my computer doing not-very-much. I like that
Got 3 hours paid work today, and with my blissful late start anyway, not much time to do anything, but I'll pop out to get 5 mins fresh air before I start work.
Hope everyone has a good day, in spite of the grey skies.
