Are you sure? Bearing in mind you're thinking of resurrecting the whole 'buy a flat' idea, that could generate a lot of paperclip-demanding stuff :D.
Its agony, of course, a severe trauma ameliorated only by repeated applications of hot tea, but I think I might survive :D

And a question. How many paperclips do I need? I have approx 2,500 :o

I have a similar question. How many rulers do I need?

I have 14 in a drawer. That's too many for any house. They will be decluttered when I get round to that particular drawer, which also contains lots of pens that don't work

Good news on the French VAT front :j

Shouldn't there be a rule of one ruler per drawer? Spread them out & it'll be fine - then you won't have to remember what drawer the one remaining one is in :D.

You're a bit young to have started collecting pens that don't work...... do you have much in the way of beige clothing ;).
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I have a slight ruler problem, but they're all very different - one is Stargate :j one is steel, a couple are boring plastic ... when we were decluttering my late brother in law's stuff, for things like rulers we made the rule of one to use (for each person, his kids were in their early 20s) one backup, and the rest to go to a chazzer. Seemed to work. Except I now have about 5, and I've no intention of getting rid of any :D

Pretty sure Goldie hasn't got into the whole beige clothing thing - having just retired, I think she might be going in the *opposite* direction, actually :j

Yep, those are the ones :p We'd only just discovered Thorntons chocolates, they seemed to be fantastic, so when I found the Mozart Kugeln, I was beside myself with joy :D

    Great carrot from your mum!

Quite tired today, I think I was sitting up at the computer working on the accounts too much, and as I have a normally-full-day-for-me today, I'll just concentrate on that. Hope everyone has a good'un :A

Thanks Cheery! Yes, I'm feeling tired but very, very chipper right now:
    - did 3 hours work, and didn't fall asleep in between :)
    - kept myself awake by filling in the re-accreditation form for my professional organisation. This used to consist of four forms, wildly overlapping, which took about 3 weeks to fill in, and now consists of one page of questions (I'm ignoring the preprinted fluff on this occasion :D). Its done, I scanned my answers, and I've actually posted it :j:j:j
    - British tax declared and paid. I'll phone them tomorrow about this thing of "filling in boxes in order", no idea what they're after.
    - French tax, there's just 3 categories of things to list, which is bog-standard copying from bank statements, then I scan everything and send it online (no postage fee anymore :j).
    - I let my home and contents insurance renew automatically, I changed provider last year, and since I declare business visitors to the house, and its only gone up a fiver, seems fine.

And then, finally, I can pay attention to my plan for 2015. This always included January as being admin month, but between the admin, being ill and preparing for Christmas (cards and pressies) I feel like my life hasn't been my own since the beginning of December.

    I'm freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Nearly :D (see above :p )

  • You must feel like a weight has gone from your shoulders :)

Lovely feeling knowing the tax stuff is finished.

    Take care, Tilly x x
