London with a baby...how?!

I've been Money Tipped!
How do you do the underground with a pram? We have friends to visit and am just thinking through how the whole travelling in central London thing works?

PS: Guessing this would be the most useful board to post on...I hope!

    i dont think i would take a pram, a sling is so much easier - i might take a lightweight buggy, that i can easily fold to take up and down the escalators, but i would use a sling in the main
