Hi All,
I'm naturally quite thin but I have developed a bit of a belly. I was told the best way to reduce this was via pressups and weights, is this correct? I was also told such excercise could cause hair loss - is this also correct?
Thanks

I've never heard of any form of exercise causing hair loss. I don't understand how this would work?
Your 'bit of a belly' may be caused by slack muscles, given that you're thin. Any form of exercise should help. Just stand up straight and pull that belly in - that will be a start. Or try sit-ups - lie down, cross your arms across your chest and try sitting up. Even if you can only get your head and shoulders off your pillow, you'll feel that tightening your belly.Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.

Pilates. It'll help your tummy and strengthen your back at the same time. Check YouTube for videos or if you have an iTunes account, you can download free podcast videos. EFit30 is very good.0

I am assuming you're under the crazy notion that doing weights can raise testosterone.
*giggles*
I'm a female powerlifter and I have waist-length hair. Don't fret

There are a few artciles online about how weight lifting for males can cause hair loss, however I wonder if this is coupled with drug taking?0

Don't believe everything you read online. There will be very little correlation between the two - it'll just be a hobby of the guys with hair loss

Okay then I may dust down my weights.0 -
Excercise does not cause hair loss.
Steriod usage does cause hair loss.
To get rid of the belly, cardio (running, treadmill, cross trainer, rowing machine etc) and sit ups. Plus eat healthy.0
