Yes Lara Croft comes up at $15. I guess that must be over too then :(

The offer is on till the end of the month but am unsure why its not showing as free.

Thank you. Just downloaded the game. You need to be logged in then scroll down and you will see the one with the price but it also has orange writing about it being free to gold members.

Not a patch on PS+ but there you go! At least they are not 6 years old like all the last lot.

You are comparing a free rental to a free game, so apples and oranges really.

I will say 2 great games, I really enjoyed sleeping dogs so would recommend it.

  • Prolly a silly question, but it's bugging me: once you've 'purchased' the free game, can you download it at any time later on? My HDD is teensy.

Except it is exactly the same thing in practice for those who intend to subscribe to PS Plus indefinitely, which in practice will be an awful lot of those who use the service not just due to the value, but due to ultimately wanting to get a PS4 if they don't have one already. Personally I have subscribed to Xbox Live Gold and PS Plus since both services began, so for me (and I suspect a lot of others) the two are exactly the same in practice. And in that situation there is little doubt that Games for Gold has come up incredibly short compared to PS Plus.
