Laptop Insurance

Options
Hi
Looking for some advice regarding a cover plan agreement with Currys. It is on a laptop that I bought in 2007 and has been running since then.I have not had the laptop for approx 3 years but Currys are saying it was my responsibility to inform them that I no longer have it. The problem I have is that the reason I do not have it is that I traded it in at Currys for another laptop. Would that be enough to warrant a refund on payments since the trade in
Thanks
Kev

I doubt it, there is no requirement for them to check if someone trading in an item has any sort of cover on it.

Curry's are correct, why have you continued to pay insurance for an item you no longer have?

You can ask for a "goodwill" refund, but it doesn't sound like Curry's are prepared to do this for you.
