So Scotland gets a mainly Scottish themed weekend - presumably for Burns night on the Saturday 25th - but the rest of the UK gets a mainly American weekend. Go figure :(

Its reasonably tasty and at that price, who can argue against it :)
Just need to pick up some mince from the reduced bucket to go with it :D

I asked Lidl about this and got this reply - which doesnt really say anything that I didnt know already

    "
Hi David, This is a regionalised offer due to the upcoming Burns Night but I will pass your request to our Buying team so they can consider this for any future promotions :-)

It is strange that they haven't included the Burn's Night offers for the whole of the UK, an opportunity missed.
The American weekend could have been held anytime, perhaps around July 4th??

That was part of my point in my email to Lidl - but that least I tried :)
And they have stocked some of the haggs in my local store this week - but nor as part of the weekend offers
