Can 2 people be insured on the same car without being on each others insurance?
Other half has a car but if I go on his insurance as an extra driver, its very expensive.
Can I be insured on the car as well as him without being added to his insurance?

No you cant do this. It is one insurance policy for 1 car however you can have named drivers on the policy.
To to be insured to drive his car you cannot take out another policy, but would need to be as a driver on his (or you take out a policy and he can be a driver on yours)Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0
