I'm better off for the reforms; previously I didn't get top level DLA, but when I move to PIP I am likely to get the top rate.

You may think that you'll likely get the enhanced rate of PIP (care or mobility?) but given the cowboys who are carrying out the assessments it may not be a as clear cut as that.

Well I have a genetic condition, that will never get better, and is incurable, amongst other co-morbidities. It isn't fully covered under the DLA descriptors, and under the PIP descriptors is better set out. I het HRC, LRM, but would get HRC, HRM under PIP. I just don't want to wait 6 months for the PIP assessment as is currently done as I'm not due for re-doing until 2016.

Anything else you want to tell me about MY condition?

I'm also better off under the coalition government. My tax code increased, my Tax credits seem to have increased and I also stand to benefit from PIP in that I'm on middle care with low mobility now but it appears I'll be on enhanced for both when the time comes.

I really can't complain at all.

I'd be better off on PIP too. Currently on mid care and low rate mobility. Should be on higher rate for care for PIP and appear to be borderline for the higher rate of mobility.

I currently get high rate mobility and middle rate care. As I have mental health issues, heart trouble and low thyroid, I'm hoping to get enhanced rate pip.

Well, that did'nt go to plan OP..,but yeah I agree the Tories and IDS especially, are just downright nasty when it comes to the more vulnerable in society. With very few exceptions.

    No plan present Tommix :)
However, IMHO if anyone assumes that the Tory plan was to increase the 'benefits' bill, I would question their assumption.

I am very pleased for anyone who is actually receiving a better standard of living through finances provided via the government, and who is disabled. I think the measure of a society is in the humanity it shows to all.

However, if anyone can come up with 100 reasons why DWP is making things worse for the disabled, then it might be that you're receiving a higher income but with costs of living, that is balanced out.

I was on ESA for 2 years - thankfully found a job I am able to do; don't assume, it just makes you look stupid.
