How long does ESA (income based) last?

I would like to know how long does ESA (income based) continue for?
By the way it's been over 7 months and I still don't know if I'm in WRAG or Suppot Group. Thought I'd mention that in case you might want to base your answer around that.
So say I'm not assessed, how long will it continue for? I'm still receving same old rate I did when I first signed on so basically I know for a fact I'm not in WRAG or Support Group.

Hello
There appear to be huge delays in benefit forms being processed at teh moment.. you could phone and ask for a progress report if you are worried.
As far as i know income related ESA is not limited.. the limit of a year applies to contributions based wrag group.0 -
I think the potential time is unlimited however you will be reassessed every so often to ensure you still qualify for the award.
My 1st reassessment was after 12 months and may second award is for 24 months before review.
The difference, I think, is because I was moved from WRAG to the support group.
Could you phone them and chase things up, that sometimes helps speed things up.
Have you had a medical as yet?A big big thank you to everyone who posts competitions and good luck to everyone entering0 -
