Updating my Credit File

Hi All,

At the end of December I updated my new address with all of my credit providers, 3 days ago I sent the electoral form back and yesterday I emailed experian to let them know my new address.

Experian have updated my address but my credit score has now dropped as I have no credit agreements at my new address.

Does anybody know how quickly Halifax update addresses? Natwest don't appear to be reporting on my credit file which is annoying because I want to improve my score!!!

Thanks in advance :-)

  • Hey :-) Thank you for your reply! It is my oldest account at 2008. It used to be a staff account as I used to work in their debt management department. I wonder whether it was because of this that they are not reporting.

    Thanks in Advance

Yeah that will be why non of my credit accounts report to the CRAs.

Back in old day days staff accounts was not credit scored so thats why they do not report to the CRAs.

  • Thanks! I did wonder as I have had to take out a credit card with someone else as it doesn't report which doesn't help my credit score.

Cheers for your help that explains a lot :-)

Might take a little while for your new electoral roll details to appear on your credit reports because of the current annual canvasses.
