To pay a premium in the wage is no longer legal even for temporary workers. They have to accrue their holiday pay the same way as anyone else and can request to either take the holiday or be paid it at the end of the contract.

The only way it can be done is for it to be really clearly shown on the payslip as holiday pay and not in the main wage per hourly rate.

Rolled up holiday pay is illegal but agencies get away with it by doing exactly what you say above and what I referred to when I said a premium in the wages.

I'm sure they do, I was highlighting it so the OP can get the daughter to look on her payslips and see if it is shown separately and if it is not, then they will need to pay her the holiday pay they owe her. Which doesn't affect JSA entitlement either.

She can sign and on off JSA for all the days she has no work. So she should have made a claim on-line last Saturday, if she finished on Friday and now is being given no work from the agency.
