SCS and other companie sofa warnings

Did you see that program that said scs sofas and some other companies were invalidating the fireproof regulations etc ?

Okay, what really !!!!es me off with this troll? thread is that naming SCS only. The program was Fake Britain; Furniture Inferno

It listed several UK retailers, not just SCS, that had bought in goods with little, none, or some, fireproofing from a Chinese source. These were also Tesco Direct, Homebase/Argos, Amazon, and a couple more iirc, but can't remember exactly without watching again.

What I find actually disturbing in this program is none of the sofas were listed anywhere, and I watched it twice, first time wasn't paying attention though, as it was 8 out 10 that failed? I am quite disturbed that the brand/make/model of the sofas aren't available to check online, and most of the statements released by the retailers essentially said oh dear, we have stringent (!) testing to ensure they are all fire resistant to britsh standards, yet it was proved that it wasn't the case, as a lot weren't.

I bought my sofa from tescos direct, and it looked awfully similar to a model they butchered up on a sweeping shot. They also weren't fully clear whether all the sofas had the "faked" British standards label, so no one is clear that simply a normal label means they're fine. (mattress, or sofa). Frankly with Customer services as they are, I wouldn't even trust tescos, or any of them, to tell me correctly if i were a lethal sofa.

Besides from burning it, how are we meant to know?
